I have been quite a bookworm these days, maybe because of the loooooong vacation i am having now. so yeaps, I had borrowed this book called Daddy's little girl (written by Julia Latchem-Smith) from sabby. It depicted a real life story about this author who had suffered sexual abuse.
Okay, here's the summary about this book.
Julia was born into a dysfunctional family as her mother seemed to be suffering from obsessive compulsive behaviour. Her mother was very obsessed in cleaniness.She was so obsessed to the extent that her husband and children were not allowed in the house without her permission, Julia and her brother, Paul had to wear the clothes that were chosen by their mum, they had to be cleaned from top to bottom, STARK NAKED, by their mum with baby wiper before going to bed and even had to run all the way to the toilet for bathing while being naked. Worse of all, Julia and Paul were not even allowed to clean their own butts after using the toilet and this required their dad to do the job.
When Julia reached the age of eight, the sexual abuse by her father started. It was quite mild from the beginning like touching her legs and trying to arouse her. Being an innocent girl who did not know anything then, she thought that it was just an affectionate way that her father showed love to her. She felt uneasy but she afraid that she might upset her dad, so she just kept quiet about it.
That was when her nightmare began. Her dad started to do some really disgusting and obscence things in front of her which gave her creeps and nauseating feeling that resulted her vomiting at times.
After a few years of continual sexual abuse, when she was around ten, her dad had even asked her if she wanted to have sex with him. She could not take it anymore and told her best friend about it. Her best friend's family supported her and reported her case to the police and social worker. However, that was not the end. Being pressurized by her family and afraid that she would lose her father, she revoked all her allegations against her father. She was branded a liar and lost all her friends. She thought her dad would stop the sexual abuse after this incident but in the end, he continued. This whole sexual abuse lasted from when she was eight to thirteen years old.
Because of this traumatic experience, she always thought that she could only get attention from guys by having sex with them. She did not know how to communicate with people without doing these as this was what her father had inculcated into her.
She always felt that she was odd and mad because of all those experiences she endured.
But in the end, Julia and her husband managed to find evidence against her father. Hence, he was jailed for those charges.
So yeah, I sort of just summarised the story but not very in-depth. It would take ages to say the whole thing. haha.
When i finished this book, I cant help but to feel sorry and angry for her. I am actually quite disgusted about what her father had done to her. Frankly speaking, I am so turned off by her pedophilic father that I start to have creeps and funny thoughts. Yes, so that is how disgusting and shameful her father portrayed. I am really glad that she had managed to speak out for herself but I still feel the damage that her whole family had done to her was far too great. She had suffered for like ten over years before she had the courage to speak out. To prevent others from suffering the same fate as her, she was willing to share her story with others. I was really impressed by her action.
Nevertheless, I have to say that this book is good but quite overwhelming though. haha. Because it affects me abit. But it's a must try!

All I can say is it is not a bit scary. Not At All.
Hahax. Unless you are VERY free, I suggest you don't waste your time.
I am kind of rude, but I wonder why they even came up with this story in the first place.
The protagonist was just a desperate student. He was about 14 year old?
The story was just---> Boy always had S** with girls ----> Girl in denial----> Girl got raped---> Murder.
I thought it was scary that's why I watched it in the first place. Manga was worse... It didn't even show murder scene.
At least in the last episode in anime, there is a bit of violent and blood... Thought it still not what I expected.
If you want something freaky, try "higurashi no naku koro ni". It is nice, at least in manga. I am not sure about anime though.

Without her, Bleach is no longer the same for me...... Haix.

I think the ending suited them both though I don't really like the ending that much.
However it was still acceptable because both of them were tragic characters after all. *Sob*
But he is really HANDSOME!!!

All hail the arrival of the queen!
Guess where i am now? Hint: Look at the time of this post. *wink*
YES! I AM at work! Don't know what the hell i am here writing this for? Aren't i scare of getting caught? Of course i am, but it doubles the fun with thrill and stuffs... Nvm, I am crazy.
Anyway, I am one happy fangirl. After one year of missing in actions, my dear Rukia is back! Alive and kicking!
Hahax. Ok, if Kubo- sama 'don't like' her so much, he should just gives her to me! Ok, Enough IS enough.
This blog is the results of A'level. I don't know what the hell we were thinking that time when we SHOULD SUPPOSEDLY be studying our brains out! Hahax, just woke up one fine Sunday morning, sitting under our 'HANDSOME' tutor's flat( seriously, i don't know what is so mesmerising about him that we WERE INFATUATED by him that time!) and came up with this idea. We must be really crazy. Yes, people, JUST get a life!

I had just finished Itazura na Kiss anime today! Okay, this whole anime ended last year so i only started to watch it yesterday. here are a total of 25 episodes.
This originated from manga written by mangaka Kaoru Tada.
Unfortunately, this manga was incomplete as the author died during a house accident. It was quite wasteful since I believed that the whole story was about to complete since 23 volumes were already published.
Luckily, her husband wanted to fulfil his late wife's wish by continuing this manga hence the finale was conceptualized in anime, following close to the plot that his late wife had produced (: so yeah, I was glad at least the anime had ended in a nice way.
Okay, back to Itazura na Kiss summary. It was about this girl named Kotoko, who was really dumb, careless and slow witted, that fell head over heels in love with the handsome and genius Naoki-kun. Naoki-kun was really a cold hearted and rude guy who did not consider Kotoko's feeling most of the times, especially during the beginning. However, through the determination and "pushing" that Kotoko had been doing all along, he eventually warmed up towards her and fell in love with her! So yeah, they married and had a daughter named Kotomi who had exactly the same personality as Kotoko, but with good look and brain like Naoki-kun =D
Overall, I did enjoy this whole anime but just that, I felt that the romantic stuffs were not enough. Heh heh. Yeah yeah, I LOVE romantic and mushy stuff. Cant help it okay? Lols. Although the characters werent very handsome and pretty as compared to others that I watched, I was still attracted to Naoki-kun. He wasnt a very nice guy most of the times, like being cold towards Kotoko, and never really showed his concern for her. So at times, I was really quite pissed off with him. Nonetheless, he still loved her and would really expressed it out when he had to. Okay, that was when I was really going crazy XD I think that I might be one of those masochists who love being bullied by bad guys. And yes, I LOVE clever and handsome guys too XD hahaha. so Naoki-kun rocks! LOVE LOVE.
Anyway, please dont be bothered with how I am reacting now. I am a very fickle-minded person. haha. I like him now but any moment later, I would change again XD It is always like that, but I cant help it! haha.
However, I have been watching quite a number of animes and reading manga recently. I just started this manga called 07-Ghost. It is really not a bad one and anime just started to screen too. So yeah, people who are interested in anime and manga stuff may want to give it a try (:
Temporarily I am suffering from "anime ended" withdrawal symptoms. It happens all times whenever I had completed in watching an anime. As for now, it's Itazura na Kiss. I cant believe that I finished it -.-" Since it was a good ending, so it's still okay.
What had really made me depressed- KUROSHITSUJI.
It really sank me down to the bottomless pit when the whole anime was completed. What the hell, I cant believe that Sebastian really took the soul of Ciel. Now thinking about it again, it is really getting me depressed and irritated! I'm praying, the manga will not end up the same like the anime, which is HIGHLY impossible.... Okay, here I go again =( NO!!! CIEL!!!!!

yes yes, i'll be the first one to start the ball rolling yeah?
yan and i had decided to start up a bloggie together during our JC times, we thought that it might be nice and fun to do so. and i'm getting all excited now to talk about it.
hmm, maybe i will mention abit about what we'll be talking in this bloggie?
this will be a platform for both of us to talk about the times we spent together during girls outing and of course not to forget, our ANIMES AND MANGA!! haha. okay, i know i have been becoming more obsessive towards 2D stuffs. truthly, i'm really getting hooked with them. i'm wondering who makes me begin this whole japanese manga and anime stuffs... (hint hint) kidding! heh heh =P becoming an otaku soon.
if any of you are not interested about our girls talk, just dont bother to read it then (: it will really be lots of stuff surrounding about us. so yeah.
anyway, that's all i want to say for now but hope you all will love it.
